ABOUT

After completing a Masters of Education Degree in 2003, I returned to college where I recently obtained Photography Certification from the University of South Alabama.

In 2006, I was fortunate enough to have one of my photos receive top honors from the Alabama Sports Festival State Games. I have participated in The Alabama Art Walk and my work has been displayed at the Mobile Arts Council “Skinny Gallery” with Camera South’s exhibit of The Mobile Bay Area Watershed Project. I also have had photos published in The Mobile Bay Monthly. Recently two of my photos hung in the Mobile Museum of Arts. Current memberships include Mobile Arts Council and Camera South where I currently serve as treasurer.

My business centers on photographing people of all ages, on location or in the studio, wildlife, places and things in our great country, and the tiny details of micro photography.

I teach United States history and reading at Causey Middle School. I was a member of the writing Committee that produced the Alabama Course of Studies for social studies teachers throughout the state of Alabama. In 2005, I was chosen Teacher of the Year for Causey Middle School and Mobile County School System Secondary Level. In 2006, I had the honor of being named to Who’s Who Among America’s Secondary Teachers.

My hobbies include playing music with my family and teaching guitar. We are members of The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, where I sing in the choir.
